The Child Health Care Bill was a non-partisan effort - seems that Bush is saying, "Hey now! Don't play nicely together! Remember the Dems the enemy!"

...although if you look at what Bush actually said there may be a shred of sense.

Bush: I don't like this bill because its too expansive, middle-class kids are covered, they already have privatized insurance. This will be a needless expense, we need all the money we can get to bomb brown people.
